Yuvabharathi, Runners-up at the National-Level Makeathon

i3R2: Innovate for Rural India: Real India, India's biggest K12 Makeathon, focused on empowering the next generation of innovators to tackle rural communities' challenges. This national-level STEM competition was organised by Creya Learning & Research and the Pravaha Foundation.

Around 100 STEM teams from across the country participated in this national-level Makeathon, and the panel members evaluated the progress stage-by-stage. Yuvabharathi Public School's STEM team (Varun Sambasivan, Kathir M, and Jainum R Shah from grade 8) participated under the guidance of the mentors Ms. R.Divya and Mr. N.Sreeraj, and made it to the top 10 finalists. The final round was conducted from the 13th to the 15th of September, 2024 at T-Works, the Government of Telangana's prototype centre at Hyderabad.

Yuvabharathians emerged as the runner-up in the final round and received a cash prize of INR 45,000.
