The second edition of the Coimbatore chapter of The Indian International Model United Nations was held at CS Academy from 28th to 30th July 2017. 38 school delegations and 700 students participated in the event, which was perhaps the largest MUN in South India. The objective of the ‘Model United Nations’ was to create a platform for the youth and provide a responsible and credible medium to put forth their ideas. Disha Nahata, Kritheega Devi R, Smayan Santosh, Shradha Sreekumar and Varsha bagged the Best Delegate Award. Aadhish S. won the High Commendation Award. Suraj Narayanan, Rahul Harikumar A., Shyam Srinivas R., and Subramanian Meyyappan won Special Mention Award.
Samyang P. Jain, Jayasree P., Adithya Haridas, Bharathi Kamban, Mannan Dassani, Aadithya V., Ronak Hingar S. and Aderai T. L. received Verbal Mention.
