Yuvabharathi lifted the Overall Championship Trophy at Thalir National Innovation Fest, a national-level interschool competition designed to inspire students' creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Thalir Innovation Fest is a national-level interschool competition designed to test and inspire students' creativity, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Yuvabharathi Public School topped the city-level contest and qualified for the nationals held on the 25th of November 2023 at the Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science, in which around 20 schools participated from 8 cities.
The theatre team secured first place with a special mention of the lead actress - Adithi N, among all 2000 participants for her perfect expressions and dialogue clarity. The design thinking team won first place for their AI-based toilet management system - prototype. The project was appreciated for the sanitary maintenance of toilets in village setups and the website that helps advance public toilet booking for highway travellers. The team: Driti S. Shah of Grade 11 B2, Dhruv Sambasivan, Harsh C., Karthik Govindan V. and Sanjit Govindaraj M. of Grade 11 A1.
The poster-making team (Diya M., Santoshi T. and Disha M. of Grade 12 B2) bagged first place.
In the Science Expo, Yuvabharathi's 'Project Afforester', which had already been conferred the Most Innovative Project Award at the city level, bagged first place at the national level for its originality and unique application. Project Backward Buster also won first place for its idea and conceptual design. Team Afforester: Gugan Subramaniyam Rajendran, Krithic C. K. And Rajaneesh R. of Grade 12 A1. Team Backward Buster: Athul Vinayak Pradeep, Maanya R. Jain, Hariprasad Suraj, and Nathan Prakash Muralidharan of Grade 10.
