Yuvabharathi conducted the fourth iteration of its Model United Nations, YBMUN IV, on the 19th and 20th of October, 2024. With the theme ‘Peace—Our Common Future’, YBMUN IV had six committees, namely DISEC, UNODC, UNCOPUOS, UNHCR, UNEP, and WHO, providing an ideal platform for the delegates to debate, collaborate and seek common ground. Mr. Rajesh Govindarajulu, a leading columnist, historian, and heritage enthusiast, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered the keynote address. Students from 11 schools in Coimbatore and Salem participated in the two-day student-led conference. Ms. Geetha Jayachandran, the Principal, addressed the gathering during the closing ceremony, and Ms. Pinky V Katara, the Vice Principal, released the ‘YBMUN Yore’ newsletter.
Yuvabharathians bagged many awards, including the Best Delegate Award, and Yuvabharathi Public School successfully retained the ‘Best Delegation School’ trophy.
