Yuvabharathi wins Green School Award 2024-25

Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON), Coimbatore, organised a competition among schools on the theme "Clean and Green School Campus."

The panel of judges observed the planting of saplings and maintenance of trees, conservation and waste management practices, initiatives taken by Yuvabharathi for environmental awareness and protection, and the environmental programmes conducted and participated in. SACON conferred the Green School 2024-25 award to Yuvabharathi Public School recognising its efforts to keep the campus 'clean and green' and promote nature awareness among its students.

Ms.Geetha Jayachandran, the Principal, received the Green School Trophy and the certificate during the 128th Birth Anniversary Celebration of Dr. Sálim Ali & Sálim Ali Memorial Lecture held at CASFOS Forest Campus, Coimbatore, on the 15th of November 2024.
