ATL Marathon 2021- Yuvabharathi Public School in Top 350

ATL MARATHON 2021 – YUVABHARATHI’S PROJECTS AMONG TOP 350 AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL

The Atal Tinkering Lab Marathon is Atal Innovation Mission’s national-level flagship innovation challenge, where school students identify community problems and develop innovative solutions in the form of working prototypes. In 2021, we celebrated the resilience, diversity and achievements of India. To commemorate the 75th year of Independence, ATL Marathon 2021 drew inspiration from developing a New India with the innovation and creativity of the young minds of our country.

In ATL Marathon 2021, two teams from Yuvabharathi Public School submitted their projects based on the ‘Strategy for New India @ 75’ document by NITI Aayog:

Theme: Education, Project “Falkon-Fake News Detector” by Joshua Daniel S. & Rishi Premnath of Grade 8 and Raghavi Premnath of Grade 7; Project Guide: Mr. Anand Jeyasingh, ATL In-Charge, Yuvabharathi Public School

Theme: Social inclusion, Project Nethramithra – an all-in-one Mobile App for the Visually Impaired by Prakalya M. and Mahathmika A. of Grade 7; Project Guide: Ms. R. Divya, Teacher, Yuvabharathi Public School.

On the 23rd of September 2022, the results of ATL Marathon 2021 were announced, and both teams from Yuvabharathi secured their place among the Top 350 teams at the national level. Previously, in ATL Marathon 2020, Yuvabharathi’s project, Piranha, was placed among the Top 300 at the National level and Top 10 at the state level and received the invitation to participate in the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – India @75 at Dr. Ambedkar International Center (DAIC), Delhi in April 2022.
