Yuvabharathi celebrates Sports Day (Primary Wing) 2025-26

Yuvabharathi celebrated Sports Day (Primary Wing) on the 4th of September, 2025, at the school's Multi-sports Turf. Ms. Vinolia Merlin, Vice-Principal (Primary Wing), delivered the welcome address, and Ms. Geetha Jayachandran, the Principal, hoisted the school flag. The programme started with a Walk Past that showcased students' discipline and team spirit. Mr. N. Rajesh, Head of the Department of Physical Education, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school's achievements in sports and games at international, national and state levels. The Principal declared the Sports Day open, and Ms. Nehaarika Sanjeev, a member of the Management, released the balloons, marking the commencement of the much-awaited events. The competitions included Fun Games for boys and girls, which brought cheer and excitement. The track events and relay races followed, featuring thrilling finishes. A spectacular Mass Drill performance by the students of Grades 3–5 and the "Lezim", a renowned folk display, by the Grade 5 students captured the attention with their flamboyant style and grace. The highlight of the display events was the Dumbbell Drill performed by Grade 4 students, which showcased remarkable coordination and rhythm. The winners were honoured with medals during the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The Sports Day concluded with the declaration of the Individual Championship winners, and the Cedar House lifted the Overall Championship Trophy (Primary Wing) for the academic year 2025-26.
