Yuvabharathi celebrates "Mishmash 2026" with grandeur

Yuvabharathi celebrated "Mishmash 2026," featuring music, fantasy, and fun, showcasing the students' talents, creativity, and confidence. Dr. (Prof.) S. Rajasekaran, Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics, Ganga Medical Centre & Hospitals, presided as the Chief Guest at this Annual Day (Primary Wing) held on the 29th of January 2026. Mr. Anand, Member of the School Management, honoured the Chief Guest with a memento. Mr. Sanjeev Anand, the Correspondent, Mrs. Nehaarika Sanjeev, the Executive Director, and other luminaries graced the event.

The school choir soulfully rendered the prayer song, and Mrs. Vinolia Merlin, Vice Principal (Primary Wing), welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Geetha Jayachandran, the Principal, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the achievements in the board exams, the awards the school won, and the accolades garnered by the students. Dr. Rajasekaran, in his address, emphasised the role of discipline and hard work in shaping young minds' success, while also highlighting the vital role of parents in building students' character. The cultural programme, compered and presented by the students, was riveting, featuring a variety of performances, including a classical Bharatnatyam dance recital, English and Tamil plays themed on The Chronicles of Narnia and Vikatakavi Thenaliraman respectively, a fashion walk by intriguing creatures and objects in avant-garde designs and energetic western dances by students from Grades 1 to 5. The children's confident performance, with a gamut of expressions and gestures, synchronised movements, and scintillating stage presence, gripped the audience and reflected the delight the students enjoyed on stage. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Sunitha Pradeep, Coordinator (Primary), who expressed gratitude to all for making Mishmash 2026 a memorable celebration.
