Yuvabharathi's 8th Blood donation camp conducted on Independence Day

Yuvabharathi Public School has been conducting a Blood donation camp since 2014, in commemoration of our martyrs who paved the way for our freedom. This student-led initiative that was started to save the lives of accident victims, saw its 8th iteration on the 15th of August 2023.

The Coimbatore Medical College Hospital joined Yuvabharathi for conducting this annual outreach programme. Student volunteers and teachers actively campaigned for this drive during the last few weeks. The drive resulted in 160 potential donors registered for the camp, and 102 members donated blood, which was given to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital blood bank.

Yuvabharathi expressed its profound gratitude and appreciation to all the parents, staff members, alumni, and other voluntary donors who benevolently participated to spare a pint of their blood to save someone's precious life.
