The Oak House lifts the Overall Championship Trophy

Yuvabharathi celebrated its 14th annual sports day on the 11th of August, 2023 with many events showcasing the students’ excellence in sports and games. Mr. Sanjeev Anand, the Correspondent, declared the Sports Day open. Following the March Past by the houses and the Torch relay by the Sports Champions of the school, Mr. Rajesh, Head, the Department of Physical Education, presented the annual sports report listing the school’s achievements at the district, state, and national levels.

Aesthetically performed aerobics, a skilful yoga demonstration, and synchronised drill performances of the houses adorned the majestic show and captivated the audience. The finals of the track and field events saw many nail-biting finishes, and the winners were honoured with medals and cups.

The Pine House lifted the 'Best Marching Contingent' trophy, the Cedar House bagged the trophy for their outstanding Drill Performance, the Maple House secured the 'Best Cheering House' trophy, and the Oak House won the Fair Play Award. Based on the cumulative points, Ms.Geetha Jayachandran, the Principal, presented the Overall Championship Trophy to the Oak House for the academic year 2023-24.
