Yuvabharathi's Sports Day (Primary Wing) 2025

Yuvabharathi Public School held its annual Sports Day for the Primary Wing on the 31st of January 2025, with many events showcasing the students’ excellence in sports and games.

Mrs. Vinolia Merlin, the Vice-Principal (Primary Wing), welcomed the gathering, Mrs. Geetha Jayachandran, the Principal, unfurled the School Flag, and Mr. N. Rajesh, the Head of the Department of Physical Education, presented the annual sports report highlighting the school’s achievements at the state and national levels. Mrs. Nehaarika Sanjeev, Member of the Management, presided over the event, released the balloons and declared the Sports Day open.

Following the Walk Past by the houses, games and track and field events were conducted on the school's multi-sports turf under the floodlights. Aesthetically performed gymnastics and synchronised drill performances adorned the show and captivated the audience. The finals of the parents' events and games were conducted, followed by the prize distribution ceremony. The winners of events were honoured with medals on the podium and individual championship winners were honoured with trophies. Based on the overall points, Maple House successfully retained the Overall Championship (Primary School) and received the Trophy for the academic year 2024-25 from the Principal.
