9th Blood Donation Camp on I-Day

Yuvabharathi conducted its 9th Blood Donation Camp, the school's annual flagship outreach programme, on its premises on August 15, 2024. The students and staff joined hands with Coimbatore Medical College Hospital to conduct the camp. This student-led initiative was started in 2014 to save road accident victims, and now it is held to honour the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our independence. The student volunteers and teachers actively participated in the campaign for the past few weeks. As a result, 164 potential donors registered for the camp, and 96 individuals donated blood, which was contributed to the blood bank at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital. Blood donors included parents, teachers, non-teaching staff, alumni and others.
