INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2026

Yuvabharathi Public School held its Investiture Ceremony to formally appoint the student office-bearers on the 17th of June 2026, at the school's multisport turf. Ms. B.C. Rumya, Forest Range Officer, Tamil Nadu Forest Department, presided over the event as the Chief Guest, hoisted the national flag and delivered the Presidential address. Mr. C. Anand, the President, Bharathi Group of Institutions, Mr. Sanjeev Anand, the Correspondent, Mrs. Nehaarika Sanjeev, the Executive Director, and other luminaries graced the event.

Ms. Sindhu Joseph, the Principal, delivered the welcome address, and Mr. Anand presented a memento to the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest and the Principal adorned the Prefects, Captains, and Vice Captains with badges and sashes. These democratically elected office-bearers received the School and House flags from the former office-bearers. Following the oath-taking ceremony, the Student Council leaders conducted the ceremonial placement of the flags. The primary wing's office bearers also received their badges to learn to serve and lead.

Mr. Sanjeev Anand, the Correspondent, honoured the student members of the Election Committee - Technical team for developing the software that enabled the seamless conduct of the digital election. The Prefects and the House Captains made their acceptance speeches, followed by the Chief Guest's address. The Chief Guest echoed the thoughts of Roy T. Bennett, "Great leaders create more leaders, not followers", and encouraged the newly sworn-in Student Council leaders to dream bigger and do more.

The Student Council members will work together to lead initiatives that promote the well-being of the student community in the upcoming academic year.
