Imagine Tomorrow: District-level design workshop

Yuvabharathi's Career Guidance Cell, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD), Delhi, organized "Imagine Tomorrow," a two-day district-level workshop on Design on the 4th and 5th of July 2024. Imagine Tomorrow provided a hands-on and holistic learning experience for the 210 student participants from six schools across Coimbatore. This immersion programme offered engaging, innovative, and exemplary experiences in various facets of design for the students from the Humanities, Management and Science streams.

In the Filmmaking session, the students tried different movie-making styles. The Photography event encouraged students to explore new directions and showcase their creative views and angles. In the Wall Art event, team members worked with colours, materials, and brushes to transform the canvas into futuristic visions. The Waste Utility event, the day's highlight, transformed used CDs, papers, bottles, and other trash into fashion statements.

Ms. Geetha Jayachandran, Principal, Mr. Amit, Head of Outreach at IIAD, Delhi, and Mr. Anand Jeyasingh, Yuvabharathi's Career Counsellor, presided over the closing ceremony and awarded prizes to the students who excelled in the two-day programme.
