Muskaan Bathija, a grade 10 student from Yuvabharathi Public School participated in the Global Week of Faith in Action for Children, organized by Arigatou International in November 2020 by penning an article carrying a message for fellow children and adults. The Global Week concluded with recommendations to support children to cope with the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Committed to following the recommendations, Arigatou International organized several dialogues involving children in India, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, Romania, Serbia, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Along those lines, “Virtual Guided Tour – Romania and India” (an exchange interactive meet between children from India and Romania) was conducted on the 8th of June 2021. Muskaan interacted virtually with fellow participants who had contributed their messages to Global week-2020.
She is thrilled that she had an opportunity to discuss the impacts of the Covid 19 Pandemic on the mental health of children across the world with her Romanian counterparts.
This online session has given the children a chance to share their understandings about the pandemic, its impact at the community and personal level, and their expectations from adults to cope with the adversities.
