Primary Sports Day 2022 celebrated with pomp!

Yuvabharathi Public School celebrated its 13th Annual Sports Day-Primary Wing on the 5th of November 2022. Ms. Geetha Jayachandran, Principal, hoisted the school flag and Ms. Vinolia, Vice Principal (Primary), delivered the welcome address. Following the brisk walk past by the primary kids, Mr. Rajesh, Head, Department of Physical Education, presented the school's annual sports report. Flanked by Mr. Anand, the Correspondent, and Ms. Geetha, Shriyaa Mahesh of Grade 1 declared the Sports Day open.

The finals of the track and field events were conducted, and the winners were honoured with medals. The prudent primary kids compered the entire event. A delightful display of Taekwondo, Gymnastics, and Yoga, energetic Zumba performance, spectacular prop drill, pom-pom drill and mass drill with sports games enthralled the audience.

The Primary Sports Day concluded with the prize distribution for the best performance by the houses. The Maple House lifted the Overall Championship Trophy (Primary) for the academic year 2022-23. P. Kavin, Grade 5, proposed the vote of thanks.
