Mass Yoga Demonstration on the 8th International Day of Yoga
Yuvabharathi celebrated the 8th International Day of Yoga on the 21st of June 2022 at its multisport turf. Around 700 students from Yuvabharathi Public School, Kovai Sahodaya Schools (PSG Public Schools, Honey Bunch Senior Secondary School, and Sri Ramakrishna Central School) and NCC cadets from Dr. Dasarathan International School participated in the Yoga demonstration guided by the Yoga instructor of the school. Mrs. Geetha Jayachandran, Principal, Yuvabharathi Public School presided over the event and Mr. Girish Eswaran, Principal, PSG Public Schools addressed the gathering. The demonstration included exercises, Surya Namaskar followed by 16 asanas like Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Trikonasana, and Komukasana.
